Silly James
by Adam Di Carlo
James was a silly man
He wore a silly hat
On a silly head
He walked a silly walk
Holding a silly can
Of petrol for a silly van
But, though James was a silly man
He had a lot of patience for all the silly people,
Who let their dogs shit on his lawn
For his neighbours who played loud music
At the crack of dawn
For his Beatles who thought they were good singers
For his mother
Who stuck shit in his fish-fingers
For his accountants who stole all his money
For this old cunt who kept calling him 'Sonny'
And the lady down the store
Who always sold him mouldy bread
Yes, silly James had a lot of patience
And then he shot them all in the head.
