1. I dreamt that I was living with my girlfriend in a house out in the country, somewhere in the South Australian hinterland. We lived in a small, simple house. There was a wasp that was always in the house with us, buzzing around, a constant cause of bother and nervousness. One day I resolved to get rid of the wasp once and for all: I opened the door and went out to look for some tool to kill the wasp, but when I left the door open, the wasp suddenly flew out of the house. The problem was unexpectedly solved.
2. I dreamt about a primary school. There was a new male teacher working at the school, and quite attractive female teacher was making clear efforts to seduce him. Eventually she succeeded in convincing him to go to the bedroom with her. They undressed and embraced on the bed. At this point, my observer’s perspective moved so that I was outside the room, and it was revealed that the large mirror above the bed-head was a two-way mirror. All the children from the school were sat in neat rows outside the room, viewing, unobserved, through the two-way mirror. The male teacher had in fact been tricked into acting as a demonstration for a sex education class.
3. There is one extremely intelligent and capable man at my workplace who has intensely blue eyes and an unusually fixed gaze. I dreamt that he had been working, alone, for months, on an incredible new project. This was the most dazzling piece of dictionary publishing that anyone had ever attempted. The launch date came, and before an excited public and media, the new publishing project was unveiled. It was a simply a gigantic, rocky canyon, with clear blue water running in a stream at the bottom. The canyon was incredibly huge, and deep, with sheer cliffs on either sides. We were all gathered at the top of one of these cliffs. After a few seconds in which everybody gasped in awe, the ingenious fellow who had created this project then threw himself off the cliff. Everyone was horrified; to me it seemed infinitely sad, yet somehow expected.
