Heath Ledger in NY Times

Just a link today - I came across an interview with Heath Ledger in the New York Times, from 2007. One of those things that becomes much more meaningful in retrospect…

“Last week I probably slept an average of two hours a night,” he said. “I couldn’t stop thinking. My body was exhausted, and my mind was still going.” One night he took an Ambien, which failed to work. He took a second one and fell into a stupor, only to wake up an hour later, his mind still racing.

what killed heath is actually incredibly common and in fact i have taken ambien several times (different brand - same drug). a single dose is not enough to put me to sleep either. it is a soft core pussy drug. good on heath for doing it hard.
