I have just come back from a fascinating weekend in Paris. It was no accident that I was there on this particular weekend: in fact, I was on a vital mission as a member of an electoral monitoring team.
What I can reveal about my findings is… that there were severe irregularities in this presidential election!
As results came in from Paris polling stations early Sunday evening, it quickly became clear that the people had rallied in a great majority to support the true outsider candidate. Indeed, the vast majority of French citizens clearly wanted their next President to be a camembert cheese. Just take a look at this image I documented:

… You may not be surprised to learn that, given the nature of contemporary politics, this result was quickly swept under the carpet. The swift repression and distortion of the true electoral results went right to the highest levels of the French political establishment.
Is it any wonder that, when the somewhat racist, and undoubtedly belligerent Mr Sarkozy was fraudulently declared victor later that evening, the People took to the streets in righteous anger?
