We are now gaining an extra four minutes of daylight every day, here in London.
That means that for every week that passes, the days get longer by half an hour. But it’s as cold now as it has been all winter - cold and sunny and sharp the last few days. Weathermen are predicting that tonight will bring one of the biggest snowfalls that England has seen in years.
I will be sleeping in gleeful anticipation.
