Total Cardboard 8 has been a year in the making. Starting from a disparate collection of writings by desperate and fearless individuals, it gradually coalesced around the loose theme of ‘crimes and miracles’, until it created enough momentum of its own to produce this beautiful printed journal.
Now a midnight-lamp-burning 144 pages, this latest edition of TC contains some of the most striking new writing to be found this side of the South Pole. Stalwarts such as Jennifer Mills, Pete Nicholson and Alex Scott have again blessed us with their barely-controlled rantings, while some unexpected little gems have been smuggled in by talented new contributors.
Celebrated novellist ROBERT DESSAIX adds star quality in his interview with Phil Lecks, while any boredom arising from having to read so many words will be relieved by new drawings from Amelia Walker, Jessica Porter and Daniel Shaw-Smith.
